Hui Zhong

Hui Zhong was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the NSLS. She graduated with her B.S. degree and M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwest Institute of Textile Science and Technology, (Xi’an, Shanxi, China) in 1993 and 1996, and she obtained her Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron in 2004. Her Ph.D. research topic was "Stereo Image Velocimetry of Mixing Driven by Buoyancy Induced Flow Field." She moved to Long Island in September 2005 and worked in the Miller group until September 2007. Hui was involved in developing image processing routines for combining synchrotron infrared and x-ray images, and multivariate analysis of synchrotron infrared data.
